Feeding hungry kids all summer is a big job! This is especially tough on a tight budget. You may be thinking about what your child will do for meals while school is out.  The good news is that the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners in our local community to serve free meals.   There are no income requirements, and any child under age 18 may come to eat.

New to ALCOTT: Character Club

This club promotes positive behavior throughout our school.

It gives students a chance to be recognized for their excellence in Manners Matter.

*Be Safe

*Be Respectful

 *Be Responsible

To be eligible for Character Club:

1.) Need to be nominated by your teacher

2.) School staff helps decide whether the student is a good candidate for Character Club.

If you are chosen your name will be announced at the school assembly at the end of each month.

So be sure to use your Manners Matter!

Character Club Members are considered Role Models for the entire student body for the remainder of the school year!

Alcott students and their Box Top supporters have earned over $2,000
for Alcott Elementary!

Way to go Eagles!

Please be aware of students walking and riding bikes as you drop off or pick up children. Also we continue to ask that you go in a clockwise direction around the school for dropping off or picking up. We will be putting out the cones to limit the driving on Cedar Street to only go south.

Thank you for your help in this matter.
